The Georgetown Equine Expo is the most unique and highly anticipated equine trade fair of 2010 and will be held during the prestigious 2010 World Equestrian Games.

The Kentucky Horse Park, located in Lexington, Kentucky, will be the host site for 2010 World Equestrian Games. The Games consist of eight world championships in the following disciplines: Dressage, Eventing, Endurance, Reining, Show jumping, Combined Driving, Vaulting, Para Dressage.

Over 800 horses and 700 equestrians from 60 countries will participate. The Games will take place over 16 days, from September 25 - October 10, 2010 and will be the first time the Games will be held outside Europe. The first World Equestrian Games was held in Stockholm, Sweden in 1990. Since that time, the following have served as host countries: 1994 The Hague, Netherlands, 1998 Rome, Italy, 2002 Jerez Spain, 2006 Aachen Germany and now, 2010 Lexington, Kentucky.

More than 600,000 spectators are expected to attend. NBC will reach an anticipated 500 million more worldwide. The economic impact is estimated at more than $150 million.
